The front desk really helped us when we needed a nice place to eat - they took their time and suggested a few places, it was wonderful. When we requested extra blankets/sheets they arrived within 5 minutes and the staff was very very friendly. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you.
Liked: Great room; very clean and neat; front desk were very helpful; good location.

It is a wonderful hotel...
Liked: It was walking distance to old town, which we loved.
Disliked: It is too close to the freeway, way too much traffic noise and they were unable to to relocate us.

Pleasant enough stay for an...
Liked: The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Complimentary breakfast had good options and staff replaced items in a timely manner.
Disliked: The rooms on the side of the freeway are noisy. Kind of expected that when we found complimentary earplugs in the room. They helped! When Booking.com g try to get a room on the opposite side.

No such thing as hospitality...
Liked: I had a roof over my head for the evening.
Disliked: The General Manager was very inhospitable! I travel with my therapy dog, a paraplegic French Bulldog who is in stoller. I was checked in at 10:30 am by the only nice staff I encountered. I am an injured on duty, medically retired L.A.County Sheriffs deputy, hence my handicap license plates and my therapy dog. I was asked if my dog had a therapy dog vest. I told them no and showed him my therapy dog patches from AKC. He was satisfied to let me check in. I told him that anyone can buy the vests on amazon, AKC patches cannot be bought, they are earned through AKC therapy dog training. Later that evening about 7 the General Manager, Marie, told me that they do not accept therapy dogs, only service dogs. I explained to her the situation and not to worry my dog is paraplegic and doesn't jump around or tear up things. He is a very quiet therapy dog. She was not having it and said that my dog was not allowed. I told her that I had already been approved and checked in and the hotel has already taken my money so I and my dog are not leaving. She kept droning on and on about how they could not accept him, I just left to have dinner with my friends who were also staying there. I used to be in hotel sales before I became a cop and could not believe this manager's behavior. When my friends who were waiting for me asked the other gal behind the counter if they could have water in their room since there was none when they checked in the girl said it was for premier guests and they probably did not get any because they were not qualified!! Even if they weren't it would have gone a long way to just say that my friends could pick some up at the front desk when we return from dinner! For the cost of two bottles of water the hotel would have benefited in smoothing over the bonehead manager's behavior. But nope, the hotel has rules!!
