As I drove up to Springhills Suites I was greeted with professional courteous and politeness. The lobby was very nice, very roomy and enjoyed the morning coffee and the continental breakfast. When the time comes for me to visit San Antonio again I will come back to this hotel.
Liked: It was nice and convenient; the staff was very courteous and polite; they went out of their way to help me find places to go since I was out of town. They took time to print me out a sheet to give me directions to where I wanted to go.
Disliked: I didn't experience anything bad in that one night stay.

For what I paid ($450 for 2 nights), I expected a more comfortable stay. Maybe it is too close to Sea World, as it reminded me of an off-property Disneyland hotel on Kid's Weekend. The desk was totally unresponsive. The TV acted up and wouldn't operate correctly with the remote. I had to keep resetting the TV. Being an LC TV, I realize they are junky. I almost think the floor above me was plywood and not lightweight concrete because of the noise. I am coming back to San Antonio in a month, and you can bet I'll stay somewhere else. Just about the time you leave the hotel for an appointment, they close the intersection putting you on IH 410 and you have to use back streets and a GPS to guide you to your destination. The Continental Breakfast was supposed to be good. Now put 30 kids in there and see what happens. Eggs all over the floor, loud, and the coffee server is empty.
Liked: The room appointments were nice.
Disliked: 1. Internet slow as dial-up. VERY slow! 2. Phone didn't work the entire time I was there - I told the desk and they ignored it. 3. TV kept going on the blink. Called front desk and they sent someone up. You couldn't turn it off by the remote. I had to unplug it. 4. Construction outside made it hard to get in and out. 5. You could hear kids stomping all over the floor above you. I was on the 3rd floor. 6. Hotel was packed with preschoolers. Screaming, crying, running all over the place. 7. So many kids that they ruined the breakfast array.

Luxurious at a Decent Price
Liked: The location was great. Next to a shopping plaza and a restaurant. The room was nice and having a walk in shower and separate restroom was even better.
Disliked: The cleaning could have been better but it wasn?t bad at all.

Liked: It met all of our expectations. It was clean, comfy and it a great area of town.
Disliked: I didn't like that they didn't have something hot in their breakfast bags or something more nutritious other than a granola. If not they should lower the price of the breakfast from the rate of the room.

A friendly stay
Liked: The hotel was in a great location. All the shops and restaurants are in close proximity. Rooms are comfortable. Some can accommodate up to 6 guests. Staff is friendly and helpful. Seaworld is about 3.5 miles away.
Disliked: There was no breakfast due to the Pandemic. Only a muffin and a granola bar was given.
