The hotel staff are wonderful!...
Liked: because I had to wait like an idiot for a reservation confirmation! even though I had already confirmed and paid a long time before!
Disliked: The hotel staff are wonderful! But your information system is very slow and causes discomfort to those who have to wait at the reception (note! It's not the employees' fault, but rather a slow system that is probably controlled by management) because I had to wait like an idiot for a reservation confirmation! Even though I had already confirmed and paid a long time before!

Our Richmond home away from...
Liked: Kim checked us in when we arrived around 8pm. She was lovely, friendly, very helpful with the few extras we needed (towels and shampoo). All the staff we’ve interacted with were very pleasant. Parking is free and well lit. With multiple entries (card key accessible), we were always parked steps from a door. The room accommodates our family of five comfortably, it’s very affordable, and it’s located very close to the family we visit. The bedding is comfortable too. We appreciate the warm breakfast before head out for the day. My kids love the chocolate waffles and yogurt. I appreciate the rotating entree and oat milk option for coffee. My husband enjoys the pastries. The variety of oatmeal toppings is impressive too. It is generally quite clean. They even cleaned the carpets during our stay.
Disliked: The mattress is a little stiff and very bouncy, so you feel every move your partner makes. Not a deal breaker. We expect that at hotels. I think most people like firmer mattresses. We’re the exception. Very few hotels clean the corners of the bathroom floors well. This is no exception, but the room is very clean otherwise. We’ve had better rooms in the past, but on this visit to room 318, we found some features a little worse for wear. The sink was cracked. The tub was peeling around the fixtures. The walls are thin enough to hear our neighbors’ music/tv, and our upstairs neighbor’s stomping feet (unfortunately quite late one night), and the new construction next door.
