Nice enough hotel but wouldn’t...

Liked: Stayed for 3 nights - outside of hotel was lovely, as was staff, pools were nice, gardens were nice too - room was nice - clean and spacious.
Disliked: Breakfast room was overcrowded - lots of guests with pyjamas on ! One guest with boxers only - kids helping themselves to buffet food - picking up and dropping back into dishes - yuk - food getting dropped everywhere - DEF not Marriott usual standard - 3 lovely pools all crowded - that’s fine, but one would have been nice adults only ?

Disliked: The hotel should offer complimentary coffee throughout the day — it really adds to the guest experience. Breakfast could be improved by offering more variety in the meat options. They only serve sausage, so adding bacon would be a great improvement. Pancakes should be available daily, not just on certain days, and it would be nice to have sliced bread in addition to bagels.Parking shouldn’t come with an extra charge, especially since there’s no control over it — anyone can park without paying, which isn’t fair to guests.Also, mattresses should be upgraded to queen size, and more pillows should be available in the rooms for added comfort.

Liked: A kids' park with pools and activities right next to the hotel - most of them free of charge.
Disliked: The breakfast area was super busy. Also, didn;t accommodate my request for a quiet room on the top floor because there was "no room left" though the parking lot was 2 thirds empty...

Looks Can Be Deceiving –...

Liked: Literally, the only thing I liked was a safe place to lay my head.
Disliked: I want to share a few concerns about my recent stay.First, I was caught off guard by the parking fee. I specifically filtered my search for hotels with free parking and didn’t see any mention of a fee in the overview or reviews. That should be made clearer before booking.When we entered the room, it felt very humid and damp, which made it uncomfortable. I had listed multiple people for the reservation, but the room was not properly stocked—there weren’t enough pillows, covers, towels, or washcloths. Was a larger room not available?The layout was also inconvenient—the closet was inside the bathroom, which meant we had to leave our bags outside, and the space felt cluttered. Towels and washcloths were taken daily by housekeeping but not replenished, so we had to request more every night.There was even a broom just sitting on the outside window ledge, which seemed unprofessional and out of place.The breakfast experience was also disappointing. The dining area is extremely small and not enough to accommodate guests—it’s basically just part of the lobby with a few seats tucked around the corner. Food choices were repetitive and limited. Every day, it was the same: Mickey waffles, pork sausage (with turkey sausage offered inconsistently), plain eggs (no cheese option), cereal, oatmeal, and baked goods. There were hardly any fruits—just oranges and bananas. A little more variety and thoughtfulness would’ve gone a long way.The jacuzzi was another issue. It was visibly dirty with what looked like broken tile, mold, or mildew floating in the water—not safe or relaxing.Lastly, the listing mentioned Dunkin’ Donuts, but it was actually Starbucks in the hotel.Overall, I won’t be returning. I’m grateful we had a safe place to sleep, but the overall experience was disappointing and didn’t meet expectations based on the listing.P.s. I didn't get pictures because it was honestly just too much going on in my mind to even pull my phone out to snap pictures.
