Liked: The location. The view of The Wharf and big ferris wheel lights at night. The Wharf Marine right outside hotel where you can book dolphin tours or sunset tours.
Disliked: The breakfast was okay.

Disliked: I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to after our recent stay at SpringHill Suites Orange Beach. We booked two nights. We only stayed one.Our room (216) had several problems — loose fixtures, a faulty door lock, and things that clearly hadn’t been maintained well — but the dealbreaker for us was what happened on the balcony.While we were sitting outside, our 2-year-old daughter touched one of the vertical bars in the balcony railing. It detached completely from the top. If we hadn’t been standing right there, paying full attention, she could have leaned forward and fallen through the gap. It happened that fast. We brought her inside immediately and packed our things. We just couldn’t take the chance of staying another night.We’re local, so it was easier for us to leave than deal with the stress of changing rooms or talking to staff. But honestly, after seeing that, I wouldn’t have felt safe in any other room either. If one balcony railing failed like that, how do we know the others are secure?I’m not writing this to be dramatic. I just want other families to think twice — especially those with children. I hope the hotel takes this seriously, because the next person might not be so lucky.

Disliked: The tub and sink was stopped up, the mirror was dirty and it was NOT enough towels.
