Disappointed in lack of room...
Liked: The room was spacious. We had two king size beds. The hotel itself was pretty clean. Didn?t know the pool would be open but that was nice to see. Breakfast was okay. No waffles. Bananas, oranges and apples for fruit options. Eggs, vegan sausage which I think was Morning Star Farms brand and a pork protein with danishes or bagels. Plenty of juice options and coffee. The front desk morning staff was AMAZING!!!!! They made an exception and let us check-in early but even without that, they have impeccable customer service. One slight problem arose and the young man issued an unsolicited credit as an apology. That was appreciated. But they just seemed to really like their job or maybe it?s their natural personalities. Either way, the morning front desk staff was absolutely a #win! I would give Springhill suites a second chance. I will just call ahead first to find out if they are back to daily cleaning.
Disliked: This is in no way a reflection on the customer service in the morning. I?m very disappointed in the over use of ?due to covid??. When we returned to our room it had not been cleaned or refreshed with towels. Trash was still present. Mind you we are a family of 5!! When I called the front desk (evening staff), a young woman answered and passed to a young man who said because of covid they only clean rooms once every three (3) days. What in the entire WHAT????!!! If anything, you should clean more often not less!!!! But once a day is the expected industry norm, right? The guy stated we should?ve been informed at check-in. We weren?t, but this was the small issue that came up which the morning front desk staff addressed and apologized for. But how do you have the pool open for use and justify cleaning less under covid reasons???? This cheapened the experience. We were, however, brought towels and trash bags (rolling eyes) which just made it worse but what can you do. I?m thankful for the set of towels. We were only there for two nights. We love staying in hours. Usually, for the breakfast and the daily housekeeping! I do not change bedding and linens daily at home so it?s always a wonderful experience. It was taken away from us on this trip so grave disappointment. Another con is the fact that I wasn?t aware of the daily parking fee and the daily $25 occupancy fee. It?s not a resort, so I guess they name it occupancy instead. I may have overlooked the parking fee. I usually filter by free breakfast and free parking. I saw the occupancy fee on the receipt. I was wondering why there was a huge jump in the cost when I booked. Just a a heads up.

Exceptional
Liked: I loved that i was able to get a high floor with a nice view of the city. The front desk workers were amazingly nice, helped me extend my room for another day.
Disliked: The breakfast.. didn?t really like the eggs or vegan sausage.
