Liked: Good location to explore the city, close to the metro. Clean, comfortable, reasonable price. Pleasant staff.
Disliked: Too crowded for breakfast.

Bad experience

Disliked: We stayed at SpringHill Suites by Marriott New York Queens for four nights. While I really appreciated how clean and spacious the rooms were, our overall experience was let down by how the hotel handled something as basic and expected, as breakfast.Breakfast was included in our booking, but to our surprise, it wasn’t available for two days. On the first morning, the staff explained there had been a vendor change and some coordination issues, which I get, things can go wrong. But what really surprised us was that even the next day, after many guests had voiced their concerns, nothing was arranged. No alternative options, no clear communication, just silence.When you stay at a Marriott property, there’s a certain level of service and reliability you count on, especially for something that’s advertised as part of the package. Unfortunately, that expectation wasn’t met here.It’s a shame, because aside from that, the stay had a lot going for it; comfortable rooms, a quiet atmosphere, and a great location. But the mishandling of a simple service left us genuinely disappointed.

Will not repeat such bad...

Disliked: Location is so bad, facing a factory having operating machines 24/7 producing very loud noise and alot of smoke during day and night. In addition, we felt unsafe with the surrounding environment with people sitting in the street in our way to the subway. Besides , there were alot of bugs in the room that stings all of us during the night, we told the receptionist several times with no action.

Liked: We didn't have any breakfast
Disliked: We didn't have running water in the bathroom, they said that something was broken, that we will have water in 15 min. that never happen until the next day by 9:30 PM, we were gonna leave early ne next day. We are very disappointed with service.

Disappointing

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff
Disliked: My room was very hot, no A/C. This seemed to have been an issue this weekend.. Waited a while to get my room switched. Didn't really appreciate that I had to be the one responsible for checking in about a room change when staff is already aware. The elevator was broke, so it wasn't so comfortable getting up and down. I was eventually moved to new room though.

other than the check in...

Liked: the location and the clean rooms
Disliked: is the receptionist was unable to resolve an issue in her system and were not cooperative , telling me I don't work to resolve issues for third party booking mistakes and refuse to help , and when I start get nervus , I think her supervisor come out and start to investigate to resolve the issue , it was not nice to take an hour to resolve a simple issue in the system to do the check in .
