WRONFULLY BILLED 350 DOLLARS FOR...

Liked: Dissapointed with staff who are least bothered to help there guest
Disliked: Please who ever is staying in this hotel be carefull before parking your car in vallet parking it will cost you 55 dollars per day..... i was wrongfully billed for 6 days for car parking when i actually parked for just 1 day.....350 dollars.....now nobody wants to help me when i call them to get refund they just say its finance departments matter......

Disliked: The basin of the toilet was too small. Water was spreading while I was washing my face.

Liked: Loved the comfort of the room, the AC and the cleanliness
Disliked: The location and the breakfast facilities. The walk to the Shirley was scary, especially after dark with a young family. It’s too far away and not the safest of areas. Once you are there, it’s all good but we genuinely felt scared and ensured we got home early.

Liked: This hotel exceeded my expectations. When I first arrived I saw a lot of chaos and things out of place. But over time my stay got better and better. Breakfast was good. Room was spacious. Housekeeping was responsive. Staff were wonderful. I enjoyed my experience so much that my husband and I extended our stay 2 days!
Disliked: The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the major subway train station to get anywhere and close to NYC major locations. The only problem is that the 10 minute walk at night is highly sketchy and suspect, but the NYPD was located at certain spots to keep the area safe.On the weekends the breakfast area is full so be sure to go early. There is a large factory across the street. The NY noise and factory noise can be distracting but it did not effect my sleep.

I won't stay again.

Liked: The cleanliness of the hotel was quite good, and the staff were reasonably attentive. I also liked that there was a place where we could get coffee and tea at any time.
Disliked: There is no parking space around the hotel, and the hotel’s own parking area is very limited and, of course, expensive. The outside of the hotel is also extremely noisy; on Sunday morning at six o’clock we were woken up by a car alarm. Although our stay included breakfast, we couldn’t have breakfast on either of the two days because the breakfast area was complete chaos — there weren’t enough seats or proper ventilation, and people were practically on top of each other trying to get food. Booking a hotel with breakfast included but not being able to have it on both days was a real disappointment.
