No longer free parking...SURPRISE !!!

Liked: The location is proximate to the National WWII Museum.The room was comfortable and quiet.
Disliked: Previously this hotel had FREE self-parking. Now it is mandatory valet parking for $42.00/night. You REALLY have to search the hotel's website for that information. 3rd party booking sites do NOT list this... It came as a total surprise. This GREATLY reduces the economic attractiveness of this hotel. The bed was a tight fit in the room, with hardly any room to get around between the end of the bed and the wall. Breakfast was mediocre at best... The entry lock to our room failed...quite inconvenient... The ice machine on our floor was empty or broken... We most probably will not be back...

Liked: It truly was accessible.

Bad

Liked: The hotel is in very decent area. It has a lot of attractions in walking distance.
Disliked: On a four day stay the room was never cleaned. Nothing was given fresh towels toilet paper. The woman working the front desk was less than helpful. And in fact condescending. Lastly when checking in was assigned room 220 on a floor that they were laying carpet..Full of tripping hazards....feet sticking to glue as you walked to your room.

It was just okay.

Liked: Room space is very good. Bath gel and shampoo is of very nice scent. Comfortable bed, only 1 bed table (right side only) with charging points. Convenient location, 5 min walk to the convention center.
Disliked: I was given a room that had the carpet soaked due to condensation. This was rectified and they changed my room. Housekeeping is done only every 3 days, not even alternate days. No drinking water provided, there is filtered water dispenser at the dinning hall.

Hell Hole

Liked: Absolutely NOTHING
Disliked: Where do I start? We had to ask to switch rooms from the ignition room. They gave us because you could not even breathe with the foul stench that was coming from the first room. The second room was just as bad, still smell terrible and the air conditioner only worked part of the time. The air conditioner did not work at all in any of the hallways. It was unbelievably hot and human walking to your room. On the last day of our stay, hairs that did not match anyone in my families hair, showed up in our bathtub. They were not there before. How does someone else else’s hair end up in our bathtub during our stay!!!!!! This whole property has some serious issues and I cannot believe booking.com with even sell a room from this property. I am extremely disappointed and I don’t think I will ever use your services again.
