The Spotlight on SpringHill Suites by Marriott Nashville Vanderbilt/West End

Comfortable Style Near the Nashville Sound

Modern and relaxed, SpringHill Suites by Marriott Nashville Vanderbilt/West End blends convenience and comfort in the heart of Music City. Located just off West End Avenue, this all-suite hotel is a short walk from Vanderbilt University and a quick ride to downtown Nashville’s biggest concert venues. With thoughtful amenities like free bikes, an indoor pool, and a cozy shared lounge, it’s a smart pick for music fans looking to unwind between shows.

Why Concert-goers love it

Just over a mile from both Bridgestone Arena and Ryman Auditorium, this hotel makes show nights stress-free. You’re far enough from the downtown bustle to avoid the noise, but close enough for a quick ride-share or even a scenic walk. The 24-hour front desk makes late-night arrivals easy, and the noon check-out means you can sleep in after dancing the night away. Bonus: the hotel offers free bikes if you want to cruise to venues in style.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends who want space to spread out in suite-style rooms
  • Solo travelers catching a dream show with peace of mind and comfort
  • Couples on a weekend music getaway
  • Fans seeking quiet after a loud night of live tunes
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who want value without sacrificing location

Food and Drink Options

The hotel serves a daily buffet breakfast—ideal for late risers recovering from a big night. While there’s no full-service restaurant on site, the shared lounge and bar offer drinks and light bites. Plus, you’re just steps from a variety of walkable dining spots along West End Avenue.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself keeps things low-key, you're minutes from Nashville’s vibrant nightlife. Whether you’re chasing more live music, sipping craft cocktails, or grabbing a late-night bite, Midtown and Downtown hotspots are a short Uber away. Prefer to stay in? The hotel bar is a relaxing place to wind down with fellow concert-goers.

What People Say

Guests love the friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms, and great location for both Vanderbilt visitors and music fans. The indoor pool and modern decor also earn high marks, and many reviewers note how quiet the rooms are—even in such a central spot.

Areas for Improvement

Parking is available but not free—some guests found the daily fee a bit steep. While the bar is nice, those looking for a full-service restaurant on-site may need to look elsewhere. Still, with so much nearby, dining out is easy.

The Bottom Line

If you’re headed to Nashville for a concert and want a stylish, low-key base near the action, SpringHill Suites by Marriott Nashville Vanderbilt/West End hits all the right notes.

Disappointing

Liked: Breakfast was ok. Staff were nice and helpful.
Disliked: I received extra charges on my card for parking and parking tax. Bil ended up being $50 higher than expected. I didn’t like the room set up. There were not linens and blankets for gold out sofa.

Liked: I liked the location and the room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Check in is at 3pm according to the website. We arrived at 3pm and were told the rooms were not done yet and to give them 5-10mins. No big deal, we could spare 10mins. 30 minutes later we asked them for an update because we had reservations at 4pm and were told by the lady at the desk “well it’s not 4 yet.” excuse me?? so rude and we did not get our key until right at 4pm so we missed our reservation which was one of the main reasons we were even traveling to nashville. If they would have been honest about it being another hour we would have just gotten ready in the car or the lobby bathroom and there wouldn’t have been a problem. really disappointed in that employee. and it wasn’t just us waiting, there were 3 other groups that had to wait on rooms to be done. i understand things happen but be honest and don’t be rude to your customers.

A nice place to stay

Liked: The property was clean and a decent location, staff were friendly and the breakfast wasn’t bad, the gym was nice but the indoor pool isn’t great. The rooms were a nice size and pretty clean.
Disliked: The price of parking is outrageous especially because you can just drive in and out with no security or protection so I’m not sure what you’re paying for.
