Liked: To whom it may concern, My daughter and I traveled to Montgomery, AL for her to be a page for a State Senate on April 16-18 2024. I booked Springhill Marriott due to the closeness of the location. We checked in to our room (406) we came into a dirty room. It was late when we checked in. We were ready for showers and bed. Although we walked into no towels, no washcloths, dirty bathroom, and the air was broken. We slept in 78 degree in room temp. It was misery! I went to the desk and I do want to brag on the sweet young lady... She was all by herself, and she was so professional and kind... She had no business being there to handle all that by herself. She was handling it all well considering all the problems she was handling so well. I think her name was Rita. She could not be any older than 22. She never complained, and just handled it with grace. I spoke with the GM there that next morning... She was kind and took care of the situation properly. I also emailed Bridgett Thigpen the photos I took of the room.. She sent them to her GM. My only complain is that the room wasn't cleaned, it was actually disgusting. I hated to sleep in that bed, although there were no more rooms available. The staff was great, the valet was great, the breakfast was great. I just hate the room was at bad as it was. The GM refunded me one night. Although the cleaning staff never came in a properly cleaned the room. Thank you, Emily Skaggs Gadsden, AL

Very satisfied with our stay...

Liked: The breakfast was very good. Check in was excellent. Ms Beverly took great care to make sure that our check in process was a pleasant experience.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: I thought the location, design, facilities were all good.
Disliked: Almost everything was great except that the sofa really needed to be cleaned. A deep clean, probably, but even a spot clean would have improved it significantly. I also think the property was very overpriced.

Disliked: No room service, Had to ask for towels every day, there were limited hand towels, no parking for guest, only valet. Breakfast was horrible! Check in was terrible! There wasn’t anywhere to park your car while checking in.

I can test well, but...

Liked: Tayonna (front desk)was very professional and didn’t stop until she found my reservation. Kayla (parking attendant) was phenomenal. She was able to find my car after they misplaced my vehicle
Disliked: Valet parking was horrific. We waited >30mins to get my car. I found out they “loss” my car. After another 5mins they finally found my car . I was late to my appointment.
