SpringHill Suites by Marriott Houston Baytown

The most enjoyable short stay.

Liked: Easy to find the place, they have a night time security that moped arounds and even though the pool wasn't heated we still had lots of fun. I stayed on the 4th floor which was neat for the trip. Overall a good trip and another excellent SpringHill.
Disliked: The rooms door have a gap under them, not the biggest but definitely a gap.

Liked: King bed, bath, fridge, clean hotel.
Disliked: Sofa bed, it was a trundle bed with a thin mattress, my 10 year old said it felt like sleeping on the floor. My daughter 6 would have had to sleep on the sofa cushions because there was not enough space. No where in description of the room did it explain the sofa bed to be this way. When I asked the night staff for a room with 2 beds and I would pay the difference she said there were none available. So I asked for a refund to go to another Marriott hotel that had some availability and she said I would still be charged for this room with no refund. So to accommodate my family I let them sleep on the bed and I slept on the couch cushions. Nite staff did provide me with a set of linens to at least put on the couch.
