Liked: Everything was fine, except when the power went out the day of my father‘s funeral

Liked: The location was perfect! Everywhere we wanted planned to go was close to the hotel. The breakfast was fresh and had a variety of things to choose from. The staff were friendly and greeted us upon arrival. The pool was our daughters favorite!
Disliked: Around the pool was not very clean, which was probably from other guests. A lot of times after about 5, no one would be at the front desk. The room looked larger in the pics, the window didn't close and the blinds didn't work.

Liked: The common areas and room were clean and smelled nice. The beds were ok for one night, but a bit firm for me for much longer. The location of the hotel is perfect for a short shopping trip to Erie. We would stay again, if not for the following...
Disliked: I was charged $190.55 to my card on file, this after I had already paid for my room through booking . com at the rate of $155.41. I was told my credit card was taken just to have it on file for incidentals, of which there absolutely should have been none! I expect to have my card reimbursed that extra $190.55 charge immediately! This completely sours my stay, if this is how Marriott is going to choose to do business. The toilet handle sticks every time you flush, and you have to remember to push it back up or it just sits there and runs. The pillows are way beyond their life expectancy and honestly are so flat they don't even fill out the pillow cases.

Liked: Nothing at this place I liked that Front Desk moved us right away.
Disliked: I didn't like that our reserved room was not cleaned the pillow cases where from the previous towels in the bathroom toilet and shower not cleaned in a trail of food as you entered the room the pull out couch we opened it it's full of food we get a new room we open the couch evidence of bed bugs we left.

Liked: The pool area was great. The towels were stocked and the area was clean. The breakfast was nice to have and well done. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great!
Disliked: The front desk staff at Check in was not people friendly at all. When she had to do something for a guest, it seemed more of an annoyance than part of the job. The shower was not cleaned well at all. Still hair in it & along the edges were dirty. The couch bed had a urine stain.
