SpringHill Suites by Marriott Denver Downtown

The parking situation was just a little confusing considering it didn't state anywhere that it was valet parking only. However the staff was funny, friendly, and really kind to my friend and I who had just driven 8 1/2 hours and looked a little rough. The room was gorgeous and clean, and the hotel was walking distance to our venue. Overall had an amazing stay and I'd love to stay there again!

Liked: Everything was clean, beautiful, and I loved the staff.
Disliked: I wish it wasn't only valet parking. It wasn't expensive to park but still we were money crunching for this trip.

As is typically the case, these hotels tell us a rate but somehow forget to mention that. "Oh, yes, there's $23.45 Occupancy Sales Tax and County Tax." Please, please stop playing these games and just give us the TOTAL cost per night. Additionally, this hotel sticks guests with $30 per night parking fee and the WiFi requires one to pay these silly log-in games. Just turn on the WiFi and let it flow to guests like the water or electricity.

I loved the hotel. I liked that you could only get to our room through a secured door that needed to be open with a key. The hotel was close to the venue of the concert we were attending (Summit Music Hall). Made walking to dinner and the concert easy. I will use this hotel again and again for future dates.

Liked: Friendly staff; beautiful lobby; nice big beds.
Disliked: Parking should be included in the price of room I think.

Disliked: Pool closed at 3pm but check-in wasn't until 4pm. Makes no sense to me. Also, bar and restaurant were both closed on a Monday. Not a huge deal on this visit but under other circumstances could be a big inconvenience.

Liked: We came to Denver for the Post Malone concert. Was easy to get in and out of. Beds were comfortable. Decent breakfast.
Disliked: I was under the impression that there was a pool but there isn't. My kids were very disappointed. Also 52$ a night for parking sucked.

Liked: Very clean and comfortable! Great location, especially for an overnight stay if you're going to the Ball Arena for an event. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, including the valet and restaurant. Would highly recommend!
