Modern, stylish, and right in the heart of downtown Denver, SpringHill Suites by Marriott Denver Downtown offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. Whether you're catching a show at Ball Arena or exploring the buzzing nightlife of LoDo, this all-suite hotel keeps you close to the action without sacrificing space or serenity.
Expect contemporary design, friendly service, and amenities that make your stay feel more like home — all in a location that’s tough to beat.

Why Concert-goers love it

With Ball Arena just a 10-minute walk away and other major venues like the Denver Performing Arts Complex nearby, you won’t need to worry about post-show traffic. The hotel’s 24-hour front desk and late check-out at noon are a big plus after a late night out. Soundproofed suites offer a quiet, restful space to recover, and the location near 16th Street Mall means late-night dining and rideshare pickups are always close at hand.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends who want room to spread out before and after the show
- Solo travelers on a music pilgrimage to see a favorite artist
- Couples looking for a stylish weekend base
- Fans needing a quiet recovery space after the encore
- Budget-conscious concert lovers who still want upscale comfort

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no 24/7 room service, the hotel’s on-site bar and restaurant serve up tasty bites and drinks into the evening. A free American and buffet breakfast is available each morning — perfect for refueling after a night out. Plus, you’re walking distance from a variety of downtown eateries, many of which stay open late.

Nightlife Options

You're minutes from Denver’s best bars, clubs, and lounges in LoDo. Whether you want a pre-show cocktail or an afterparty hangout, you’ll find everything from craft beer spots to rooftop bars nearby. While the hotel itself doesn’t host live music, its location puts you in the center of the city’s nightlife scene.

What People Say

Guests love the spacious, clean rooms and the friendly, helpful staff. Many reviewers highlight the walkability to concert venues and Denver attractions, and praise the hotel’s modern amenities and strong WiFi. The included breakfast also gets a consistent thumbs-up.

Areas for Improvement

While most guests have a great stay, some note that on-site parking is limited and comes at a fee. Also, if you're looking for a full-service restaurant open late, the hotel may not meet your cravings — but the surrounding area makes up for it.

The Bottom Line

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Denver Downtown is a top pick for concert-goers seeking spacious comfort, walkable access to venues, and a restful stay after the encore.

Bri, St. George, visiting Summit Music Hall Denver

The parking situation was just a little confusing considering it didn't state anywhere that it was valet parking only. However the staff was funny, friendly, and really kind to my friend and I who had just driven 8 1/2 hours and looked a little rough. The room was gorgeous and clean, and the hotel was walking distance to our venue. Overall had an amazing stay and I'd love to stay there again!

Liked: Everything was clean, beautiful, and I loved the staff.
Disliked: I wish it wasn't only valet parking. It wasn't expensive to park but still we were money crunching for this trip.

John, Santa Fe, visiting Auraria Campus

As is typically the case, these hotels tell us a rate but somehow forget to mention that. "Oh, yes, there's $23.45 Occupancy Sales Tax and County Tax." Please, please stop playing these games and just give us the TOTAL cost per night. Additionally, this hotel sticks guests with $30 per night parking fee and the WiFi requires one to pay these silly log-in games. Just turn on the WiFi and let it flow to guests like the water or electricity.

Liked: Staff.
Disliked: Parking fees.

I loved the hotel. I liked that you could only get to our room through a secured door that needed to be open with a key. The hotel was close to the venue of the concert we were attending (Summit Music Hall). Made walking to dinner and the concert easy. I will use this hotel again and again for future dates.

Liked: Friendly staff; beautiful lobby; nice big beds.
Disliked: Parking should be included in the price of room I think.

Liked: Location was great, room was nice. Great breakfast
Disliked: The valet parking does not do a first responders or military discount. The valet people were very condescending and rude

Customer service was very helpful.

Disliked: It was perfect until I got home and realized they had charged me after I’d already paid Booking in advance. They said they didn’t have my card on file. However after several different calls I reached the exact hotel and they were so helpful and refunded the double charge. I was able to sleep that night without worrying.

Great spot for the campus,...

Liked: There was an amazing breakfast bar and all kinds of coffee, with a good blend of eating and eating/working space, kind of like an airport lobby. The nearby campus is definitely worth a walk—some cool displays in the student union.
Disliked: This is best set up for travelers without a car—otherwise you're pretty much married to the valet parking, which was very professional (and they handled my oversize truck and trailer like a champ).
