Great hotel!

Liked: It was our second stay in the same week. We came back although we had cheaper options since we loved the first stay. Breakfast gives you an excellent start of the day. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are big and clean.
Disliked: You need to be aware that getting to downtown Dallas requires using Uber / Lyft or a taxi, and does take 20-30 minutes.

Loved it & would stay...

Liked: The woman who greated us as we arrived was so helpful and sweet. I didn't catch her name, but she truly made us fell welcome & added to a memorable eclipse birthday.
Disliked: I enjoyed the breakfast, but I was expecting to be able to make myself waffles as other SpringHill locations I have stayed at had waffle makers. Overall the food that was provided was just enough to start my day.

Not very impressed. And they...

Liked: Somewhat outdated Room was clean beds were low to the ground but comfy. Elevator was very slow and hot.
Disliked: It was an old hotel needed updated. Elevator was slow and hot inside.

Great hotel for short stays...

Liked: We visited for the Eclipse - probably the busiest weekend for the hotel - it was a bit hectic and clearly the hotel was overwhelmed but everyone was helpful and courteous. I was glad we booked a hotel with a pool.
Disliked: Our room missed a service on one of the days but they gave us towels which is what we needed

I was born in Dallas...

Liked: It is conveniently located near Plano and Dallas with lots of restaurants nearby.
Disliked: It was perfect. Too perfect.

Passable

Disliked: Impossible to make changes to the reservation - the owner did not respond to messages and we payed for 3 extra nights that we did not use because there was no response when asking to make changes to the reservation.
