SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago O'Hare

Enjoyed our stay. Hotel location is nicely located - accessible to downtown.

I had an OK stay here. Not much to do in the immediate area. I would not want to stay here for more than one night. The staff were really good though. I was impressed by the services they provided.

Liked: Clean hotel. Nice staff. Very accommodating.
Disliked: Hotel needs updating. Breakfast was not very good.

It was a good location for O'Hare ORD and our downtown destination. Loved Outback Steakhouse for dinner. For someone who does not take the opportunity to travel often, I would recommend this hotel. Very enjoyable.

Liked: Rooms were spacious and clean. Lobby and breakfast area were very welcoming. Did not have time to use pool or fitness areas, but they were nice and enjoyed by other guests. Breakfast was awesome - something for everyone and very well maintained.
Disliked: Rooms could use some updating, especially the bathroom - just a little tired looking.

Liked: It was clean, continental breakfast was good.
Disliked: Paid parking of $24 per night. I’ve already paid to stay there which wasn’t cheap, then they added paid parking that wasn’t part of my plan. $24 per night was a bit more expensive.

Liked: Everything there was clean. Breakfast was good. Pool was clean. Staff was polite and rooms were clean.
Disliked: The only thing I had to spend an additional 70 dollars to pay for parking because they use a 3rd party.

Disliked: Parking is not included in the room rate. We stayed for 4 nights and paid $131 for parking. We were never informed when we booked through Booking.com.

Not that great even for...

Liked: Location is convenient to the airport. Room was spacious and clean.
Disliked: I'm surprised that it got such good reviews from others. I knew the location was close to the airport, and that's why I booked it but it was definitely not worth the amount I paid. I would have stayed somewhere nicer for the extra $50. (1) I walked in and it smelled funny in the lobby, (2) the front desk had lines at 9pm and the staff seemed completely overwhelmed, (3) Breakfast starts at 7am even at an airport hotel where probably lots of people are staying to catch early flights so I didn't even get the breakfast that everyone said was really good (4) The shuttle driver drove way too fast and made me feel unsafe.

Disliked: We booked two rooms a month in advance. One room wasn’t ready at the 3 pm check in time. At 7 pm they said it was ready. We went to the room, and it was unmade and it looked like there was somebody in the bed. They gave us another room. The front desk personnel blamed housekeeping as if housekeeping and the front desk personnel were different entities and not both corporate Marriott. No refund yet.

Clean, friendly, and great location!

Liked: The room was very clean and spacious! Loved the convenience of short travel to and from the Donald E. Stephens conference center. I would love to book again! Breakfast was okay, wish there was some bacon lol, but that's a personal preference.
