SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago Elmhurst/Oakbrook Area

There was dried blood stains on the blankets. It was difficult to even reach the front desk and then I was asked why I didn't notice it the night before. I shouldn't have to inspect the blankets for issues!

Everything was wonderful, from the registration to checkout. Friendly staff, good breakfast and pool. Nice rooms, free internet, and close to Chicago.

Clean and comfortable after a...

Liked: Rooms were clean and comfortable. We booked 2, for family. Desk staff kindly let them look at the room and change it when they wanted something different.
Disliked: Nothing that's the hotel's fault. I was surprised that a hotel so close to the airport took more than 15 minutes to get there because it was on "the other side" of the airport.

Superb

Liked: Breakfast was decent with plenty of options. Room was spacious. Check-in and out was easy.
Disliked: Wi-fi wasn't great. I've never been a fan of having a sink outside the bathroom, but it is nice when you're sharing a room to have a sink outside. That said, there was a second sink in the kitchen area, so I don't know why the bathroom sink couldn't be inside.

Liked: Pleasant staff, good breakfast, not too far from O'Hare. A long (30 minutes) but pleasant walk to Elmhurst and the Metra train. Several places to eat and shop are within walking distance of the hotel (1-10 minutes).
Disliked: It's a bit isolated, so works better with a car.

Definitely want to stay again

Liked: My family and I are very comfortable
Disliked: I complained about the refrigerator in the room and the maintenance came to fix it, but it still didn’t feel very cold
