Bed was great and it's...

Liked: The bed and pillows!!! The young woman bartenders was super sweet.
Disliked: Pool was really small. Lack of atmosphere throughout, very meh, boring everywhere. Breakfast not good. AC was super weak.

Suboptimal, to say the least,...

Liked: The location & the front desk staff. Ballantine wasn’t even close to the experiences we’ve had at SpringHill Suites, Carowinds, many previous times.
Disliked: The price for our experience! Our floor (2nd) smelled strongly of marijuana, there was mold in the shower along the ceiling, the seal on the shower door was partially off, getting the floors very wet, the pool was HORRIBLE (couldn’t see your legs in the murky water & the liner was filthy (except where ALL of the chlorine had cleaned it), loud vulgar language music from an open room door, bags of trash in the hallway since 3:45pm (our arrival).
