Pleasant but needing improvement.
Liked: Nice view and easily located by car. Breakfast staff polite and attentive.
Disliked: The swimming pool, and jacuzzi, were very cold, expected a heated pool, especially not a cold jacuzzi. Hotel was quite dated, needs modernising, felt like a stay at a Grandparents' home. Hairdryers in rooms awful, water pressure in the shower was not good, and no air conditioning, ceiling fan was inadequate. More staff needed, as reception staff were also working on the bar, and no lifeguard for the swimming pool.

Liked: Hotel in a lovely location. Staff all very helpful. Breakfast good, food in the restaurant very good.
Disliked: The hotel could do with a bit of updating. Several areas need looking at. A couple of times, hot water was not available, so there was no shower. They did get the problem fixed by the end of the day.

A pleasant, comfortable stay but...
Liked: Fantastic location. Nice balcony overlooking lovely grounds and outdoor pool. Nice breakfast with plenty of choices for everyone. Hosts were all very friendly- reception, housekeeping and in the breakfast room. Comfy bed with lovely linen - always a winner!
Disliked: Very dated furnishings. Carpet down the staircase to reception dangerously coming away from stairs - don’t descend in heels!!! Outdoor pool needs ‘landscaping’ to match its surroundings and the tennis courts needs surface and perimeter fencing repairs. Car park needs weeding and broken/old vehicles removed. Internet and phone signals very poor.
