Liked: The only thing that we liked about it was the friendly people that worked the front desk they were exceptionally friendly.
Disliked: Black hairs on tub, weren't enough towels in the room wasn't any sheets or blankets for the sofa bed, the pool area needed definite cleaning there was no pool towels available, it's a very small area , the little area off to the side outdoor spot to the pool was very nasty trash everywhere. .. the elevator looks like they had blood spots on the floor and people stepped in it it literally stayed like that the whole entire time... the elevators were just nasty and unsanitary! Along with other areas of the hotel like I said the only thing this hotel had going for it was the friendly desk people. And you'd be better going down the road to McDonald's for breakfast that's all I have to say about that.

Pleasant

Liked: The hotel has been recently updated. The breakfast was good.
Disliked: The first room they put us in was filthy and had obviously not been cleaned. There was no toilet tissue in the bathroom and no towels. The staff got us into a clean room within 30 minutes of checking in. They need to be more diligent in checking rooms before they put people in them. We almost left but, in the end, it was a great stay.

Great experience

Liked: I liked the location. It was convenient for our travel needs. there was a breakfast and the staff was nice. Great experience and will stay again.
Disliked: They were in the middle of reconstruction, so there was a mess in the lobby. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Liked: Breakfast was ok.
Disliked: There were significant renovations happening in th lobby- there was wet paint all over the floor that we had to step around. It was an absolute mess. I don’t think the property should have been renting rooms whilst these renovations were occurring.

Disappointing

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the room wasn't bad. The location is nice as well. It wasn't far from a lot of restaurants and only a short drive to downtown Alabama.
Disliked: This location is being renovated and that was not specified before booking. The pool was closed, which was a big part of why I booked this location. The water drained slowly and the workers kept trying to come into our room.They were working early in the morning. The front desk clerk said that they were done working on the second and third floor, and they were not. I think that once they are done with the renovations, this will be a nice location but I wouldn't book again at this price until then. There was stuff everywhere. I'm rating it low due to them not advising of the renovations before booking and the pool not being accessible. They did serve breakfast but the area wasn't too clean due to the renovations.

Liked: It looked like the room had recently been remodeled.
Disliked: The breakfast was lacking. There were flies in our room. There were dirty used tissues in our ice bucket in our room. One of the shelves in the room was loose and almost fell on our 2 year old.
