Good room, comfortable beds

Liked: Nice family room with comfortable beds. Perfect for a stop when driving up the M6.
Disliked: Bathtub very slippery. The soap bottle next to the sink was empty. Little details that give a bad impression.

passable

Liked: The room was well presented and clean, bed was comfortable and there were additional pillows which I appreciated. Breakfast was freshly cooked and hot.
Disliked: There was a power cut during my stay (on the third night), no effort was made by staff to communicate this, I had to find someone and request information. Having had to travel 3-4 miles to find a cooked meal I returned to have a drink once power was restored only to discover that the pub was shut with no explanation/apology either then or at breakfast
