Never again - most unprofessional...

Liked: We really wanted to stay in this hotel. We dint just pick any hotel but we searched particularly for this one. From the photos it looks exactly like a hotel where you would like to stay in Hollywood.
Disliked: We booked this hotel in january 2020. When the Covid-19 pandemic spread and the travel ban for European tourists was taken as measure slow down the spreading our flight was cancelled and so was our trip. We were heartbroken as we really wanted to go plus my boyfriend lost his job. For weeks I tried to contact the hotel through booking, by mail and by phone explaining our situation and trying to get to an agreement. I didn't get a single answer. No one answered the phone, the e-mail adress on their website isn't working and booking assured me that they had tried several times without getting any reply. Suddenly the hotel wasn't bookable anymore and even on the day of our supposed arrival no one answered the phone when I called the front desk. Im convinced that the hotel was closed by the time and they just took advantage because they knew as Europeans banned from entering the U.S. we wouldn't just turn up on their doorstep. These are though times for everyone I know what I'm talking about, but other hotels we booked were far more willing to communicate. Did I expect them to give us our money back? No, I know it is not possible. I was hoping for a voucher, which I think would have been a fair offer. But the minimum I was expecting was a reply to my many very polite and understanding mails and requests. I think it is an incredible lack of professonalism and to be honest it feels lika a scam to me. This might be a great hotel but after this experience I will never stay there again for sure.

Liked: Big rooms, nice bathroom, good wifi, hand sanitizer at every door entrance.
Disliked: There was no fridge in the room. all rooms were connected with one terrace. Parking is paid. Heat didn't work.
