Good value for money basic...
Liked: Good location, a short walk from the town centre. Good value for money. Pleasant staff in reception. Clean room and bathroom clean.
Disliked: No air conditioning or fan in the room when it was extremely hot.

Very enjoyable
Liked: Very well run hotel and arrived very late but hotel contacted us before hand re are room number and where to find are keys ect
Disliked: Only on the Sunday did the breakfast chap seemed to be a bit under pressure as he was in his own, but he seemed to be able to cope with all the number of people in at once.

Decent hotel/hostel hybrid, ok for...
Liked: Fairly basic hotel that seemed more like a hotel/hostel hybrid. We liked the cosy and fairly clean guest kitchen/shared dining room area with basic cooking facilities and fridge where you can store groceries. It was handy to be able to buy a microwave meal and heat it up instead of being forced to buy yet another expensive and disappointing restaurant meal! So this was a huge plus. The buffet breakfast was also surprisingly good, there was loads to choose from and some of the items were quite luxurious. The great quality of the breakfast was pleasantly surprising (considering how basic the room itself was). We noticed the rooms weren't very well sound-proofed but the hotel seemed quiet and our window was facing away from the street, so we slept very well.
Disliked: Room was a bit cramped and really dusty, which was disappointing considering the price point. Bathroom a decent size, so no complaints there. They definitely need to look into their cleaning procedures and do deep cleaning more often. Around the skirting boards and in every single corner and hidden little spot of the room there was loads of dust, which my husband with allergies reacted to as soon as we walked in. They clearly just do a quick clean of the bathroom and change the sheets between guests, which isn't really enough IMO.
