Liked: It was incredible. The whole stay was absolutely perfect - from enjoying a glass of wine round the fire pits to sunbathing round the pool it was an idyllic hotel in the best spot.

Not 5 star. Disappointing for...

Liked: Breakfast was good. Bed comfy. Ambiance of the property is relaxing and nice having the fireplaces running. Restaurant is excellent. Great selection of wine and some local beer at the bar. Staff at the bar friendly.
Disliked: The pillows are horrendous. And no options for others. No help from staff. Had to go to BigW to buy ourselves pillows for night 2. Room is small, bathroom tiny. Room was serviced but basic things like an old wine glass missed. Have been here before and it was good but the quality of service and extra touches seems to have really gone downhill. Reception wasn’t friendly and room service was impossible with the menu nowhere to be found and QR code not working to order from the room. All a bit disappointing, especially for the price. Definitely not a 5 star hotel experience. They throw in some fancy soap and an old robe and expect to be exceptional. Don’t know how properties get rated as 5 star, but this ain’t it!

Liked: Fantastic place to stay and the room service was quick and delicious if you are looking for a way to complete unwind. The included breakfast had an excellent range of choices.
