This was the perfect experience...

Liked: When booking, I asked for the quietest darkest room. This was perfect. The staff seemed calm, friendly and happy in their job, suggesting to me that their manager is doing an excellent job. This is my new favourite place to stay.
Disliked: My room code wouldn’t open the front door when I came back at 11pm from a show. The after hours/on call person remedied this, but it did cause a little stress for a moment.

Liked: Wonderful accomodation in a quiet location that is close to everything.

Great 2 night stay at...

Liked: Breakfast was great, very good coffee, lovely location out on the verandah on a wet day. Upstairs bar at night was also very good although the weather was rainy so we were the only people up there. Great margaritas. Close to city and Fortitude Valley, which I walked to.
Disliked: The windows in our room were pretty dirty.

This was an expensive hotel...

Liked: Nice facilities. Staff were excellent for the most part. Food very enjoyable.
Disliked: Windows could have done with a clean and bathroom was a bit dated. Girl who served the food was not very communicative and we needed to consult the menu to identify each course of the degustation menu.

Superb
