Spark by Hilton St. Augustine Historic District

Very good

Liked: Location is close to attractions. Clean, comfortable rooms and central areas. Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast provided. 24 hour coffee and tea. Convenient hygiene items, shampoo, soaps and lotion provided.
Disliked: Expensive pay to park at the hotel, ice machines only on higher floors. No ice buckets or ice bucket liners in the room. Pool was too warm, had debris and not enough shade umbrellas and one was broken. No hot items for breakfast.

The stay was great, but...

Liked: The location was great and rooms were clean.
Disliked: Front desk staff weren't super friendly, facility had no ice machine or microwaves in the rooms.

New Management Needed

Disliked: Staff is rude and belittling. One staff member rolled her eyes at my wife. Bill in the end showed an up charge for Balcony room. I booked for a baloncy room at a certain price and expected to pay what I booked. Had i known there would be an up charge, I would've decided then what I wanted. The cashier Suzanne that checked us in even called me 4 hours after we left to say she mentioned it, which I'll be filing a corporate complaint. We'd been staying there since it was the Villa Victor...with same rude staff then and now. We kept booking there for the location and sentimental reasons.

Exceptional

Room was clean but public...

Liked: The location was excellent! Room was clean and spacious.
Disliked: The common areas in the hotel were not clean. The public restroom was dirty and the elevator had a spill that was not cleaned up and was drying.

The stay was disappointing overalle

Disliked: The smell of the hotel needs to be improved.

Good option

Liked: Great locationI did not like the breakfast, I had to go other place to eat
Disliked: there were not options

Outstanding location but the facilities...

Liked: The best thing about the property is its location. It does offer parking but it’s not free. You need to amend your website to reflect the current price of $25.00 a night for parking
Disliked: The breakfast was terrible. There were no hot food available.

Liked: Location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: Room was not clean enough.
