Disappointing

Liked: Location, friendly guy at the front desk
Disliked: Drain in tub/shower was terribly cloggedNo chair with back to sit at desk to work on computerOverflowing trash cans outside every door entranceGrass hadn’t been cut and was overgrown with dandelions

Exceptional

Liked: Friendly staff. Location was perfect.
Disliked: The bed was not very comfortable.

Good hotel for the value

Liked: Friendly staff, good breakfast and comfortable beds.
Disliked: Elevator is small so it was hard to get the luggage cart in

Liked: It didn’t have a lot to choose from for breakfast. No eggs or waffles. Just bagels and cereal.

Value stay in Illinois capital

Liked: Spark is basic but a great value compared with nearby hotels. The beds are comfortable and the room clean. Breakfast is adequate.
Disliked: The building and elevator could use an upgrade.

Overall it would've been great...

Liked: I wouldn't really call it a breakfast. It was more like morning refreshments. While breakfast is light most think of like pancakes and eggs.
Disliked: Pretty sure we got bedbugs from your hotel.

Liked: Clean and nice rooms, good price , friendly staff.
