Spark by Hilton Grand Prairie

The room smelled of throw up; immediately walking in, the smell hit us and could not go away. The carpet was crunchy on one side of the bed as if throw up sat there and could not come out completely. The bathroom faucet was not secured into the counter and was moving around when turning on and off the water. The shower drain was completely open with no stopper. Overall just really unkept room. The smell was the absolute worst part. If we were staying for more than one night I would have left but it was just a quick trip.

Disliked: I didn’t like that my key was deactivated when I had scheduled to stay 2 nights. After the first night it was deactivated. Then I went to the front desk & when I requested to get it activated the personnel at the front didn’t ask for an ID to verify it was my room. That made me feel unsafe and kept me up because that means anyone could simply say they were staying in my room and get keys activated to go into my room. I feel like that’s a violation to privacy rights & should be investigated and taken more seriously. Something like this is why I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s a secure breach & shouldn’t be tolerated nor allowed. Especially being a female.
