Liked: .Room was comfortable and clean with a kitchenette and large living room area. Perfect location for walking to town or to go bowling and right across from the beach. Matt was so welcoming and always available for any questions.
Disliked: Couch was a bit stained. Bedroom door couldn’t close.

Inexpensive with beach access but...

Liked: Spanish Villa borders Penticton's beach, which is good, and we got an upgraded room, which included a kitchen, which was also good. The room was clean, and the kitchen was relatively well stocked. We've been to Spanish Villa often, and despite mixed reviews from others, I felt it was a decent stay.
Disliked: The giant frosted window that couldn't be opened left only two tiny windows in the bedroom, which lead into the entry way resulting in little air circulation. This proved to be an issue when I used the kitchen as there was no hood fan. Numerous other guests had piles of dirty clothes and boots outside, leading me to wonder what kind of facility this was.

Noisy but adequate in accommodation...

Liked: Convenient for the lake and town. We loved the Orchestral Concert on our final evening and the city art gallery. We were also intrigued by the Cannery Mall and its local businesses. The historic lake ship was interesting and its miniature railway very impressive.
Disliked: Noise at night from noisy air conditioning which adversely affected sleep. This was all night long. Noisy neighbours talking loudly and clumping about above us. Crowded parking and narrow parking bays in view of wide Canadian truck like vehicles was a threat to our hired vehicle.
