Liked: Good price for a private sleeping pod and the staff were polite.
Disliked: Very small and dirty bathrooms. Very shady people also living here. The pods aren't very soundproof. Plugs in the pods spark. Mattress is thin and uncomfortable. It smells damp when you walk in. Left our stay early and was happy to lose money to not have to stay here. Requested to cancel a future booking due to the poor experience with no reply. I do not recommend this place.

First time here and absolutely...

Liked: This was my first time staying at Space Q Capsule Hotel and honestly, I had seen a lot of mixed reviews before booking. But after my stay, I can confidently say—don’t go by the bad reviews, because they really don’t reflect the reality here.The place is clean, quiet, and I can guarantee you’ll get a proper good night’s sleep. At this price, there’s simply nothing better available in the CBD. I’m glad I gave it a try and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Finally Found the Perfect Budget...

Liked: This was one of the best budget accommodation experiences I’ve had in the city. Having stayed at many backpackers over the years, I can confidently say this place stands out for its comfort and cleanliness. I was genuinely impressed with how well-maintained everything was. A big thank you to the cleaning team for their hard work and attention to detail.

It was a nightmare. Never...

Liked: This is the most disgusting place I have ever had the misfortune of staying in. From the moment you walk in the door it stinks of wood chips and human faeces. the capsule's are not cleaned properly, the control panels don't work properly and risk locking you in, my capsule had big brown sticking marks all over the door on the inside. you could not change the temperature controls, the pillow's and single blanket were stained yellow and brown and pilled. the sheets were so thin you could see the stains on the mattress and pillows through them. it was so cold and inhospitable in the capsule I had to sleep under my own coat in the end just to stop shivering. the bathrooms were so dirty, revolting and unusable I couldn't believe it.Black mold everywhere, hair everywhere, stains and smells, stalls so small you'll stain your clothes on the stall itself just by walking in, sinks unusable. Showers unusable. It should be illegal for this place to even call itself a hotel. I would rather lick an airport bathroom than wash my hands in the sinks in the only female "bathroom", which is on only one floor. every floor men have toilets. not women's. The sign for the Hotel itself is even covered in vomit, which is impressive considering it's mounted from the roof.
Disliked: Everything. There was nothing to like. It was shockingly disgusting and horrible. Unsafe inside and outside the "hotel". horrible place.

Good for the price.

Liked: Great location. Not the cleanest or most soundproof capsules but they are very comfortable and well worth the highly competitive price.
Disliked: A bit noisy, not the best sound-proofing of the booths. Mostly clean but could be better.

Great pods, basic facilities.

Liked: Great location, and the pods are very comfortable. They have air-conditioning, dimmable lighting, a secure storage locker and are obviously very private. Much nicer than a bunk bed with a curtain on the side. I was also able to drop my bag before check in and was also able to check in late.
Disliked: Facilities are very basic and could be cleaner. There was a bit of noise from outside, ear plugs were handy.
