Great structure and perfect location...

Liked: Rooftop was great, didn’t use much of the facilities as I was there for one night only, but everything looked clean. Alex at the reception was extremely helpful in providing information on both the structure and the city

Liked: Friendly staff on arrival felt welcoming. Common areas are all clean and spacious. There needs to be larger and clear signage on each floor level to know there's a lounge, gym and reading room available (they aren't seen straight away unless paying attention). Those areas are great little places in the building to do general living outside of your room. Individual lockers in rooms are large and can also be reached from if you're on a top bunk. Lockers come with towel, extra sheet and blanket. Along with some coat hangers.Kitchen area is large and seating inside and outside to small balcony made it feel spacious and lets in good light. The wash areas are well maintained. Toilets and showers are small individual rooms for use, close to rooms, which gives good quick access and privacy. Each floor also has a small tea and coffee making area, hot water dispenser, kettle and sink. This is a convenient area for quick use of filling a water bottle or a thermos from close to your room.Rooftop at night is really nice. I went up there for a look and enjoyed the city lights view. Would be a good spot to hang out in the morning or before going out at night. There's also a jacuzzi up there, I didn't use it since I didn't have the right clothes, but it looks new and well looked after. Rooftop closed at 10.00pm and opens at 7.00amI stayed one night in this hotel so I could visit the local historic buildings, read some history, and view some exhibitions. The food is diverse and exiting within walking distance of the hotel.
Disliked: Cannot use hand driers after 10pm to 7am (which is an excellent rule not to create noise throughout corridors) however I noticed people use toilet paper late at night to dry hands as there is no paper hand towel dispenser. Shower areas are on the small side, with no shelves for placing items or hooks for a bag. Bring toiletries or individual items from sleeping area as needed.
