Peaceful countryside B&B

Liked: Location suited us well. Lovely view from our room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good choice for breakfast.Very spacious room.
Disliked: Our room was split level so you needed to go downstairs for bathroom. No balcony as mentioned in description. As B&B was above a café which is where you got breakfast, we were told it was at 9am, a bit later than we might have chosen ourselves. On arrival we were given fresh milk in a jug for tea but there was no fridge in the room to keep it fresh.

Liked: It is obvious that Sophie has a passion for taking care of visitors to Harowgate/Hampsthwaite.Our room is beautiful, bedding is very comfortable and the bathroom is spotless. There is a great view of the countryside from our window.Sophie is a gracious hostess at breakfast, interacting with regulars and conversing with visitors and there were many choices on the menu. The food was delicious!We were so pleased that we selected this lodging as it truly exceeded our expectations. We now have a lovely memory to add to our 50th anniversary trip.Thank you, Sophie!
