Great kitchen, great staff, lonely...

Liked: Super friendly and very attentive staff.Exceptional kitchen.VERY clean and very well maintained and cared for.
Disliked: Cracking noises in my room (heating pipes?) were so loud, that I even heard them with earplugs. It took a while to fall asleep.The area around the hotel is completely unlit and full of sinkholes, you need a torch to find your way.Parking outside on an unobservated unlit parking lot for 10 Euro/night is simply too expensive.The signage to find it could be improved.

After we got a new room, the experience was pleasant overall.

Liked: Great location, good breakfast, small but nice hotel pool. Friendly staff. Hotel was also clean.
Disliked: The hotel urgently needs a renovation. Our first room was stuffy with ugly brown carpet, squeaking beds, cheap mattresses and bedding which made the heat even more unbearable, and noisy fan in the bathroom. We asked for and fortunately got a better room. Apparently some problems are in the process of being solved, but travelers need to be prepared. Staff was friendly and helpful, but the management seems to have problems finding enough staff, so the receptionist double as restaurant waiters and vice versa. The dinner was edible but not great, so better do not book half board.
