For a cheap place to...

Liked: Cozy bed, cute design in the foyer. Cheap. TV and bar fridge in room. Generally clean and tidy, seems like it was maybe freshly renovated (perhaps somewhat frugally). Bathroom was tiny but tidy. Staff were friendly during check-in. Room was ready much earlier than I expected.
Disliked: The worst part was the pipes- woke me up during the night whenever anyone used the water. Rooms are tiny but I was only there to sleep so it didn't bother me - if I intended to spend time in the room I might have gone a bit stir crazy. I got lucky being on the side of the hotel away from the train tracks, so it wasn't too noisy.Their restaurant wasn't open so I had to UberEats my dinner. And when I checked out, despite being during staffed hours, there was no staff - so I couldn't leave my luggage at the hotel and had to take it to the conference with me. Not ideal. Also, my feet got dirty walking barefoot on the hotel room floor.

Disliked: There wasn’t a kettle no cups spoons tea coffee or milk, would have liked to just have a cup of tea

Liked: Small room, good for a short stay. If you are staying longer a bigger room would absolutely be better. Nice facilities however.
Disliked: If I was staying longer I would need a bigger room. It was fine because I was only sleeping at the hotel and away during the day.

No

Disliked: It was very noisy, and the window was broken, so I couldn't close it. Train rails inside your ears and buzzing sound from the radiator outside of your room, making it impossible to sleep. Had to change to another room which is smaller than it was promised, woken up by staff opening and slamming your door

Liked: staff are friendly and approachable. good services
Disliked: room is small which is understandable, if under bed are empty can be use to store luggage!
