Was good for the price...

Liked: Friendly staff and the room was fine.
Disliked: The pool area wasn’t well maintained. There was garbage laying around.

ok... nowhere near great

Liked: open 24 hrs downstairs to buy snacks
Disliked: beds itchy. not enough light in rooms. bathtub was filthy. someone used the toilet before I got there and didn't flush. room felt very humid. area isn't all that great and felt like I had to watch over my shoulder

Effective Staff Training is Mandatory

Liked: I strongly believe that no staff person should make a statement to its management that I requested a comp night when that was not the truth. Once I identified the staff he was addressed. I don't feel that the Manager who contacted me addressed the issue or took time to meet me during my stay. The hotel phone in my room did not work the entire time and I believe that during the next 4 days another attempt should have been made. At my check in the lady was nice.
Disliked: Lack of communication and having to call at least 3 times prior to arrival from Fort Lauderdale Florida and Eric hung up on me twice verses assisting me properly before arrival.

Pleasant and Comfortable

Liked: I loved how pleasant the front desk personnel was as soon as we checked in and I also loved the look and feel of the hotel.
Disliked: There were a few areas that needed to be clean in the bathroom of our room. Other than that, the room was very comfy and just what we needed for one night.
