Sonesta Hotel Grand Rapids Airport

It's not a word, but that's how I describe my stay, fantabulous! All the employees were very nice and helpful. My room was both clean and cozy, the hotel was walking distance to the mall, the movie theater and several great restaurants. Plus, in the parking lot is a Starbucks and across the street is the best doughnut shop ever! There is no doubt that when I come back to Grand Rapids I'm staying at the Ramada Inn.

Disliked: Housekeeping was pushy - knocked the first time at 8:30am. 15 minutes later then just tried to walk in.

We didn't spend much time in our room. It was comfortable. We did like that it was connected to the "Old Chicago" Bar & Grill as it was pouring outside and didn't want to venture out for food. The pizza was AMAZING!

Liked: There was not a positive thing I could say about this hotel other than it was by a Starbucks, Thank God!
Disliked: The rooms were very dated, furniture in rough shape. I paid for 4 people, there were towels and linens for 2 people. I had to call and ask for sheets and blankets for the pull out couch. They sent up 1 blanket and 1 pillow. The water slide they display in the picture is broken and the starbucks “on location” has a broken machine so they cant make you anything.

Liked: Clean, lobby by pool and our room walked right out to lobby by pool.
Disliked: Air didn't really cool room down, and it was over 100 degrees that weekend. Slide to pool was broke as well as the hot tub. Other then that good stay.

Disliked: I woke up super congested from the air conditioner and the desk chair was peeling faux leather, surprisingly it wasn’t removed. Bed was slightly lumpy

Looking forward to going back

Liked: Stayed earlier in the month- no hot water on 1st floor… this time they put us in a nicer room much closer to ample hot water on the 5th floor- excellent customer service
