Very friendly hotel and the...

Liked: I liked the friendliness of the staff, both at the front desk and at the breakfast the next morning. The beds were comfortable, and the room was very clean. The location was good too. It was within walking distance to the cute "downtown" area - although it was way too hot to walk so I drove.
Disliked: Well, I did not realize this was a dog friendly hotel. I do like dogs, but there was a bit of barking from the room next door. Additionally, there was a very funky smell on the second floor by the elevator - as though a dog had an accident. It had definitely been cleaned up, but I'm super sensitive to those "fragrant sprays"...perhaps 'no carpet' would be in order in a dog friendly hotel...

Quirky hotel with unexpected touches

Liked: Turkish coffee in the morning made it feel like a real vacation getaway! Comfy bed and pillow. Really appreciated having access to cold drinking water in the lobby and atrium.
Disliked: Cooking smells travel up from the atrium to the rooms, kind of a design flaw as all the rooms are situated overlooking the atrium.
