Liked: It was ok, when I walked inside, smelt like something burnt
Disliked: Got a king room cause my two queens ac was out, and there was 3 of us, floors were dirty

Liked: The exterior looks updated. The lobby looked decent and clean. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: When I got to my room there was a pair of socks in the closet from another guest. Showered and noticed there were dark hairs stuck on the side of the shower from a previous guest. Then my wife pulled back the comforter and found sticky brown stains on the comforter and what looked like more of the same on the sheets. I went to the front desk to get a new comforter and after talking about all the things was offered a new room. That was good because by this time my wife was grossed out by the room, and the whole experience. The next room didn’t have the same issues. It did look like there were dark hairs on the pillow cases though. The toilet level doesn’t work correctly and will run continuously. The sink waster pressure is so intense it will soak you if you’re not careful. The hand shower leaks and the fan in the bathroom looked like it’s never been cleaned. The door also seems to not latch and sticks. Have to pull the door significantly to get it to latch. Like with your body weight. The fan in the first bathroom did not work. Overall it seems like there are maintenance issues everywhere in this hotel. It appeared one of the elevators did not function. The trim is missing around the entrance to the exercise room. Looked like someone dropped food in the elevator and it was there all day. I went to the ND state fair to enjoy the fair and a concert. I understand that prices are inflated during that time. This stay was in no way worthy of $500 for 2 nights. The reviews looked very good but the stay was disappointing. The pool was also closed due to checking the water. Should have received a discount for that. I would whole heartedly skip this hotel. If it was much closer to $100 per night it would be what I’d expect. I am now leery of trusting the positive reviews. This doesn’t bother me but it looks like there’s either wall paper adhesive stains or some other stains on the walls in my room and wall paper or paint peeling in the shower.

Disliked: Needed a handicap room, if the room I got was it, we'll, it was 3rd floor, and couldn't have got much further from the elevator. Once inside room, it was great

Liked: Staff was exceptional. The hotel was clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast had a nice variety and was delicious.
Disliked: Door from room to hall stuck. Safety lock on door would not work. Toilet kept running
