Liked: It is half way to our destination. Plenty of walking area (dog). Clean. Close to food and Walmart and Starbucks

Liked: The hotel was clean. Rooms were good sized. Staff was very friendly. Free breakfast was good. The woman doing breakfast even brought out fresh food even though it was almost time to end breakfast. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay again when I come to town.

Liked: The value was great for the stay. Decent breakfast good selection of breakfast foods. Bed was comfortable. Loved the black out curtains and how clean the rooms were.

Disliked: Close to the train tracks - 4 trains came by during the night. 10:30 pm 1 AM, 5 AM, 6 AM.... not a great night of sleep unfortunately.

It was a good hotel...

Liked: Breakfast was very good. Good selection of food. The room was very clean except for the couch.
Disliked: The sofa in our room was really dirty. It needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Not recommended

Liked: TV has a minimum of channels and poor selection. Poor water pressure in the shower. Bathroom door dragged on the threshold, making it incredibly difficult to close. There was a dirty sheet left in the desk drawer. Bathroom door was covered in greasy smudges. Only had service to the room three times for towels, toilet paper, and emptying trash. At no time were we asked if we needed clean linens for our beds. Room felt cramped. I was forced to ask for trash bags at the front desk, and then had to leave the bags of trash outside my room door, which was still there the next day. I observed that with several other rooms as well. No refills of coffee or tea for the room coffeemaker. Pool is in need of repairs, was not heated most of the time, and at times no pool towels were available. Complimentary lobby coffee was nearly always empty. Breakfast often had no coffee or juice available, never had water available- neither hot water to make oatmeal or tea or cold water to drink. Bananas were in poor shape, split skins etc. Selection was very poor overall. There were hardly any staff available, and when you encountered them they were disinterested at best. Most of the time they couldn't be bothered to get off their cellphone to pay attention. The two main reasons I booked this hotel was the pool and the complimentary breakfast, both of which were extremely disappointing. This was my first vacation in over ten years. I certainly would NOT recommend this establishment.
