Sonesta Essential - Baton Rouge Airport

Checked in on Friday May 25th, 3 rooms (225,226,115). Front desk person was awful - we had to show her confirmations from our printout to get the rooms, and did not get room 115 until 7:30PM - waiting for 2 hours after a long drive. No housekeeping until 7PM on Saturday. We had to get some clean towels from Teresa at front desk. She was only person with a smile on her face and nice service.

Disliked: No house keeping.

Horrible experience!

Disliked: The beds was dirty when I got there. The bed clothes was stained. I went to the front desk to ask for someone to come change the bedding instead they just handed me the bedding to do myself. The whole stay no one came in and cleaned the room. The beds were so hard I feel like I need a chiropractor. It was the worst stay ever.

Liked: Ultimately, I was looking for something close to the airport and a good night sleep.1. Staff at front desk very accommodating.2. The night was quiet, and I rested good.
Disliked: 1. Room smelled of heavy smoking2. This a motel where people occupy as permanent housing.3. Residents walk around in boxers and little to no clothes on.4. BREAKFAST * No Comments 5. Just needs a good THOROUGH cleaning and sanitizing.

Liked: The staffr was nice and helpful.
Disliked: The pool which was located in front of the hotel was not in working order it was green and nasty. People were hanging out in the front of the hotel no matter what time it was. The towels may have been clean, but they had stains on them. Breakfast was a few bagels and toast.

Liked: Didn't get any of the breakfast , it started at 6am got down there at 630 and it was all gone only thing left was cereal, the rooms were not cleaned so we got checked in to dirty rooms, there were a lot of homeless people on the property. on the floor I was on in room 212 0r room 216 there was a women with 3 to 4 dogs in her room that she opened the dogs and just let then out of the room and closed the door leaving them in the hall way. I had to chase the dogs out of my room and my mothers room to keep them from biting my grandchildren. the hallways had a heavy sent of Marijuana being smoked in the hall way.
Disliked: The pool wasn't cleaned and the rooms was not cleaned
