Disappointed

Disliked: We were not informed that you would not clean the room daily when I made the reservation . I would not have chosen the hotel if I had known that. For the prices you charge I cannot accept that it is your policy.

Will give a 2nd chance.

Liked: I love Sonesta. I love the fact that the rooms are big. This location gives you the option of 2 beds in a room vs. only 1 a queen and a pull out bed. There was food nearby all within 10 min drive. Plus, if you're an avid Costco fan, that is super close. The staff did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was good.
Disliked: I do have to start this off by saying the staff tried. I can say that upon check-in, the gal seemed a bit on the slower side. Seemed to take her some time to process my wanting to check in. I realized she was overwhelmed with the chaos of multiple soccer and baseball teams staying at thay location. Due to the fact that guests had to call down for more towels, toilet paper, and anything else that was needed in the room.Once checked in, my first instinct is to crawl into bed. As I pulled the sheets back, there was animal hair all over the sheets. I then noticed there was also hair on the top cover as well. As if the sheets were not changed. So I went to the 2nd bed and it seemed okay. Yes, we do have a dog. She is a service dog and sleeps under or next to my son's bed.Never on the bed. My daughter then came into the room and said the dishes in the cabinet were dirty. I went down quietly and attempted to explain the situation to a new gal at the front desk. I was polite about it, knowing she walked into a storm and there were 3 other people waiting to check in. She was apologetic and looked to switch rooms but did not have anything, so she offered a room adjustment. She gave me her name and info and said to check with the manager when I left.Needless to say, my dauggters tournament ended Sunday. We were supposed to stay till Monday and we just had enough of the loud. The running up and down the halls. Kids screaming in the other rooms. In all fairness, it was not the staffs fault. It was tournament weekend, and being on a travel team, this is how it is sometimes. In the end, we left earlier than expected. Come to find out, there was a leak under the bathroom sink we did not notice since we had our beach bag under there, and it absorbed all the water. So I reported that, too. Hopefully, it didn't cause damage to anything. Like I said, it was a rough start, but we will definitely give it another chance. All the issues were fixable.

Good except getting the room

Liked: I asked for early check in at 3 pm and I was told room will be ready. It wasn’t. I had to wait until 4 pm. I got the room but it wasn’t cleaned at all and I had to come down and ask for another room. It was a total mess as many people have been waiting and rooms were not ready. I too the room which was being cleaned as I knew I would surely get it in 15 minutes. The lady at the front desk was nice and doing her best but the other guy wasn’t nice and he didn’t give me the room when I came at 3 and didn’t even apologize for not being the room ready. I felt like I was as being treated as a lucky to have found a place to stay. He needs to do better.

Disliked: Trash and linens in the hallways surprised us a bit on arrival. One noisy night with kids being loud in the hall.
