Hot night

Liked: Friendly staff, good breakfast, close enough to the host convention hotel. Very nice clean room. However, on the 2nd night, the ac stopped working. Needless to say, I wasn't able to sleep bc of the heat. The next morning, maintenance tried fixing it. The young man was so professional. The compressor went out. He checked on me a few times until another room was ready. The manager was generous and professional as well. He noticed how I was sweating when I came downstairs. He compensated me a night stay. I told him that's fare. When I returned home, the manager reached out to check on me after my stay. This was my 3rd time staying here, and I don't see a reason not to return.
Disliked: There's no pool at this facility

Excellent apartments

Liked: Don't believe the negative comments. We were very apprehensive about coming here, but we were pleasantly surprised. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. And It was quiet (room 813). The staff were friendly,the breakfast was ample and set you up for the day. The street car and busses were just outside, but it was only a 10 minute walk to the French quarter. The bus to the airport was just across the road (202).Yes, there are homeless people on the street, but they didn't bother us.We felt quite safe walking around. The Main Police station is opposite.
Disliked: Nothing it was fine.

Liked: It was a great sized room, clean, and easy walking distance to the french quarters.
Disliked: The immediate vicinity didn't feel super safe so I just chose to not go out at night. The only complaint I have about the room is that the water pressure was terrible, I couldn't even wash my hair however I don't think it's unusual for the area.

Disliked: Water.. the hot and cold water was mixed up.

Large room, great location good...

Liked: large room - separate bedroom with sofa in main room; location was perfect for my early morning departure by train. Easy walk down Loyola Ave to railway station.
Disliked: Not much space for laptop; there was a shelf which I used, but late afternoon sun on the laptop made use difficult. Only a minor inconvenience - great room overall!

A cheap stay, small things...

Liked: Was comfortable and close enough to the French Quarter that it was a cheap Uber away. Everything you'd need in the room from a microwave to an iron.Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Shower had no hot water... Had to advise them of damage to a fitting in the room so I wasn't charged, bedside lamp was correctly plugged in so that also needed attention.Small niggles, but they added up.

Disliked: Using the shower, the water filled the tube and did not go down. Standing in ankle high water while taking a shower... Also, my bed room was hot thought the ac was blowing

Easy stay in the big...

Liked: We didn't end up needing it but there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Nice to have a mini kitchen, separate sitting area and all the usual amenities.
Disliked: The AC wasn't working on our last night - thermometer set at 65 but temp was at 75. We didn't want to change rooms at 11pm (no maintenance person at time of night) so we turned off at the breaker and reset, seemed to work.
