Sonesta ES Suites Fort Lauderdale Plantation

Nice Suites. A bit hard to find if you are a newbie to the area as it is tucked way back off the street. I would stay again.

Liked: Nice amenities; good staff.
Disliked: Bit aged but not a big deal.

Liked: We selected 2 bedrooms which was perfect for our situation. Pool was nice, breakfast was good.
Disliked: Upon check in, I was told the upgrade to the 2 bedroom did not go through (which made sense because I never received a confirmation that it had). After rechecking, manager told us that we had in fact been upgraded, and that everything except parking was already covered. Days later received $110.74 charge for the upgrade. In hindsight the ES Sonesta upgrade email option was misleading - probably would not have done it. Hotel had strong odor of weed even though it was supposed to be nonsmoking. Probably not much can be done about that, lol.

Liked: I like that I was able to book 2 bedrooms for my family, and it had a fridge and stove, I also like the location.
Disliked: I didn't like that the front area didn't had a porch, and for that we got wet in the rain number of time coming out of our car. Also I didn't like the breakfast option. Another thing I didn't like that our rooms weren't clean every day and we were unable to get clean towels every day.
