Booked a room on 8/25/14 for a concert on 10/18/14. Called twice that day to confirm my reservation since I booked so far in advance. We showed up to check into the hotel a half an hour before we had to be at the show, only for the front desk to tell me the hotel was full and that they did not have a room for us to stay in. They offered us a room 20 miles away - I told them that was not going to work because we were out of town and had not only booked in advance, but called twice that day to confirm. They could not tell me why someone didn't mention this issue during the two prior calls that day. They ended up finding us a room next door and it worked out OK, but it took them almost 25 minutes to rectify the situation and we were late for the concert. Overall they did fix the issue but am not satisfied with the lack of communication, and the fact I watched them check in three additional customers after they told us they were at capacity.

I enjoyed my birthday weekend...
Liked: Very nice view quiet area. In walking distance to a lot of nice places
Disliked: The ice machine wasn’t working and I’m pregnant and love ice but I had to go the weekend without and I was a little sad about it

Pleasant
Liked: Literally, you can go everywhere in the city Center on foot.
Disliked: I stayed there between Christmas and New Year’s and there was a huge problem with the breakfast. Long queues for eggs because the quantity of foods and also the options were minimal. Everyday the menu was bacon, scrambled eggs, bread, jam, juice, yogurt and milk. If you were lucky enough you could se for some minutes fruits, peanut butter and granola but once they ran out, nobody was coming to refill them. I have two kids and not even one morning I got them with me in the breakfast because of the queue (30minutes waiting for refill in scrambled eggs) and with my husband we ate breakfast alternately in order to keep an eye on the kids in our room.Secondly, they knew that we are family with two kids, the room had one bed and one sofa and there weren’t inside the room sheets for the sofa. When I ask for sheets, pillows and comforters, they gave me a bag with them like they were garbage.
