Booked a room on 8/25/14 for a concert on 10/18/14. Called twice that day to confirm my reservation since I booked so far in advance. We showed up to check into the hotel a half an hour before we had to be at the show, only for the front desk to tell me the hotel was full and that they did not have a room for us to stay in. They offered us a room 20 miles away - I told them that was not going to work because we were out of town and had not only booked in advance, but called twice that day to confirm. They could not tell me why someone didn't mention this issue during the two prior calls that day. They ended up finding us a room next door and it worked out OK, but it took them almost 25 minutes to rectify the situation and we were late for the concert. Overall they did fix the issue but am not satisfied with the lack of communication, and the fact I watched them check in three additional customers after they told us they were at capacity.

Superb

Liked: Great Location, one block from Magnificent mile.
Disliked: Price was little high, but it is Chicago :) all in all we enjoyed our stay. Parking is not free and expensive too :) But we are spoiled by Hotels in Middle East with buffet breakfast, free parking etc and breakfast in Sonesta was not what we used to have :). Staff were nice and helpful.

Disliked: Elevators can be a nightmare (old, very busy, slow..)

Room size and location was...

Liked: Are suite was huge! And location was wonderful.
Disliked: $100 a day deposit - just a heads up. Parking on site was expensive. Staff was just adequate.
