Liked: The only things good about this place were that it was 10 minutes from Carowinds and the staff was nice.
Disliked: Past the main lobby the hotel is dirty, dingy, smells (not necessarily bad, but not good either) that change depending on hallway, elevator, and/or room. You could tell this was home to several peopl, which is fine, but in the hallway by the elevator there were just bags of trash piled up. One of which had cat litter and had been busted and cat litter was in the floor. When we came by again someone had picked up the bags of trash, but the litter was still on the floor. Our hall had a cluster of rooms in which at least one of them was clearly smoking. There was mold in one of our bedrooms on the ceiling and the living room ceiling. Sheets had hair on them. Stains on the side of the bed, the couch, the door, the carpet. No remote for the TV in the living room. Dirty mugs in the cupboard. Our keys wouldn't work. Went down and had them redo them, still didn't work. Went down again and she came up and "charged" the lock, but the key still wouldn't work so I had to go back downstairs again to have her redo the keys again. Went back upstairs and only one of the keys worked. At that point that was good enough. I'd already gone up and down 3 to 4 times and we were not close to the elevator.
