Nice stay

Liked: Breakfast was excellent!

I am very dissatisfied with...

Liked: The common grounds looked clean.
Disliked: The property was non responsive to my issues. There was not enough towels in my called down asked for more linen staff said there are no more towels and we could not get any until housekeeping came in. Called in the morning and no one ever bought the additional towels up. The policy allowed for kids and I booked the trip for me and my 3 kids. Check out was at 11 and still by 10:40am we never received towels or wash cloths. Facility was supposed to be a non smoking facility, when me and my family entered the unit we were greeted with a horrifying cigarette smell, called the front desk to alert them and the guy at the front desk said “ok I’ll alert housekeeping in the morning”. I asked for a room switch and was told no. The smell was unbearable we had to sleep with the windows open which made it so uncomfortable because the room never got pass 77 degrees. Check out time was 11 and the pool opens at 10 which didn’t allow the kids time to enjoy the amenity and we weren’t allowed to check in early. Overall the staff needs to be trained because they couldn’t resolve any issues and when I asked to speak with a manager I was provided a card and said call the facility after 10am on Monday. Total disservice yet they want to put additional holds on your card but do not want to help when you have raised concerns.

Liked: The staff at the front desk we're definitely not friendly when we checked in our room seemed very dirty. The mattress had stains on it. It definitely did not feel cozy for what I paid for this. I definitely didn't see any value.
Disliked: Mattress of couch stained. Seemed very seedy. People partying loud. Very gross.

Local girl trip destination

Liked: Four girls out for a relaxing resort-feel overnight stay @ Sonesta ES Suites BWI. We had lots of space to spread out with 3 beds & a sleep sofa. Enjoyed the fireplace & full kitchen. The outdoor swim pool was just what I needed. taff were wonderful/ helpful & available, esp. Ms. Bunny.
Disliked: There was a problem with the dishwasher, but that was resolved quickly by in-house staff.

This hotel has changed for...

Liked: It is in a great location.
Disliked: This was one of my favorite hotels. I would stay here at least once or twice a year just for a nice staycation. This time I was so disappointed. When I walked in the room there was a musty musty smell in the air. I did not have too much time to examine the room because I was running late for an appointment, so I dropped my bags and left. When I returned I went to take my shower the toilet seat was damaged and the tub looked rusted, it needed to be reglazed or replaced. The window curtains and the carpet were stained. Then when I moved the ottoman over to put my feet up, I saw that the couch was broken. I stayed 2 of my 3 nights and could not take it anymore. I checked out early and went home.
