Liked: It was very nice. People were friendly.

Had no idea what to expect, first time in town - went to Crofoot to see Father John Misty. I was completely blown away by the wonderful hotel and staff. Everything was spotless; the room was very comfortable (even the sofa bed); pillows the very best. The staff was friendly and helpful - providing directions, pizza delivery number, and just being nice to talk to. The lady serving breakfast let us early birds start eating right away, instead of making us wait - was nice to see someone giving 110%.

Exceptional

Liked: The room we were in appeared to be recently redecorated and painted and it was lovely. Comfortable bed, and comfortable set up to watch TV and a desk area. Room size was perfect for two. Kitchen had full refrigerator and dish washer (which we didn't need to use.)
Disliked: We were surprised that the "public" spaces (hallways) were being redecorated or "under construction." The main lobby and food/dining area were already redecorated. This wasn't explained to us at check-in but surprised us on our way to our room. Pieces of blue painter's tape were on each door and a hard-to-read room number was written in pencil on the tape. It appeared our room had been recently updated (and it's lovely), but there was some sloppiness in the painting which surprised me (splattering that wasn't cleaned up, etc.), and the floors in the kitchen and bath area weren't well-cleaned. My husband and I aren't that picky, but I wouldn't be surprised if others would be bothered by this. This isn't enough for us to say we would never return; we may when we see family the next time we visit and it would be fun to see the completed redecoration.

Great little place to stay.

Liked: Most comfortable bed. Great to have a kitchen.
Disliked: The hallways are being renovated.

OK stay and convenient location.

Disliked: Construction, breakfast was rushed or burnt amf dirty dishes in the cabinet.

Liked: The rooms and beds were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great!
Disliked: The hallways were a mess- looked like remodeling was going on? The pool wasn’t open for 3 of the 4 days we were there.

OK stay - not great.

Liked: The room was spacious and comfortable. Offered a nice respite after a day on the job.
Disliked: A lot of noise from the hallways with children running up and down and screaming/being loud. This was bothersome because I was trying to work. I also didn't care for not having cleaning service daily. There was a dirty glass in the sink when I arrived to my room which didn't give me the best overall feeling. There is a severe lack of plugs for things like phones, laptops, etc.

Disappointing

Disliked: Dirty and wasn’t aware of the renovations before booking.

Staycation

Liked: The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything from kitchenware down to dish detergent for the dishwasher.
Disliked: The hotel seems to be under construction or something. I stayed on the second floor and the hallways look like something out of a horror movie. Peeling wallpaper etc. The elevator is old and janky. The walls are VERY thin. I heard the person next door working the microwave and it was constant banging noise off and on night and day. I think it could have been a washroom? Idk. The room itself was great. The hotel needs some work. At least warn people that the hotel is under construction so they won’t be alarmed.
