Pleasant and Comfortable

Liked: Location was great. Quiet and has pretty landscaping. I liked having two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen is set up for easy access to everyting you need to cook and clean up. Breakfast was pretty good.
Disliked: The room had an ant problem. We bought ant traps and the stream had slowed, by the time of checkout. The room had an old sweat smell. I think carpets do not get shampooed often enough. Corners and crevicies need deep clean. If housekeeping is not regular, extra paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags should be stored within the unit. I would recommend non-stick pots and pans - more than one of each. One bedroom was dusty. One toilet didn't flush well.

Liked: I liked that the suite had two private bedrooms. The unit was roomy and cozy, at the same time. I love that it has a fireplace, even though it's too warm outside to enjoy a real fire! Breakfast is just "ok". Pancakes were rubberty.
Disliked: While clean, I feel as if the rooms need a deep clean - scrubbed corners and tubs, shampooed carpets (the room, sort of smelled like old sweat:, and toiletries should be filled. We had to ask for extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Bedding appears older and dingy. Closet sliding doors are a bit stiff and one is missing, altogether.

Unprofessional horrible customer service

Disliked: Absolute joke. We arrived a little after 5pm and they said the “system is updating so we can’t check you in for a few minutes”. No problem. 20 minutes later we are told it’s a dishwasher issue and maintenance has to check on it first for “safety concerns so it doesn’t start a fire”. They said maintenance was in the room currently fixing it. We waited another 15 minutes or so and then the woman at the desk (older woman, African American, I didn’t catch her name) said “Oh HERE is the maintenance manager Mr. Roberts. He is going to check now on the dishwasher issue”. I said “You told us he was already in there working on it?” She said that another maintenance person had checked the issue but didn’t get it resolved, then kept talking in circles without giving any direct answers and not being completely honest with us.We ask to speak to a manager. She tells us there is no manager here- we talk to them by phone. BUT since the maintenance manager is here it will be ready in 2-3 minutes.At this point someone else comes in to check in and they said to them “Can you give us an hour? We have to make sure the rooms are ready and clean.”I go to the desk as it’s been over an hour of us waiting at this point and told the other woman (she was younger, African American and super sweet) we wanted to cancel. I explained the whole situation and she apologized for the issues and said because we went through a travel site they had to issue the refund, but she put a note on their system that it was fine to refund.The older woman came out and said “No you’re wrong, that is NOT what I said” and started arguing with me. I asked her to stop, that I appreciated her trying to help but that we had made up our minds at this point to go elsewhere so there was no need to continue the conversation.

Liked: We booked in this hotel, because of the location. We saw something about it being pet friendly, but we were not expecting all rooms to be pet friendly, and have a heavy smell of dogs and cats. The smell was like a place that was barely vacuumed or cleaned. We were interested in having breakfast at this place as well, but the Breakfast was highly disappointing.
Disliked: We tried to suck it up and stay there despite the smell, but it’s just not a nice hotel. You’re definitely paying for a very affordable say and that’s what you get.

Family Getaway

Liked: I appreciated the hotel’s convenient location and the added bonus of free breakfast. The outdoor pool and basketball court were great amenities, especially for keeping the kids entertained.
Disliked: Because we’re a family of six, I needed to book two rooms—which was completely fine. However, I was told the rooms would be side by side, but we ended up in two entirely separate buildings. I also had no hot water during my stay. I reported it and was told it was being worked on, which I understand—things happen. But with two little ones, hot water is essential. When I brought it up again at checkout, the front desk didn’t seem concerned, which was disappointing.
