Good

Liked: I like the staff, first and foremost. Very vibrant. Very friendly. Very helpful. Very courteous. From the valet, lounge and front desk. Hanna is exceptional. The hotel has a very good location and is very clean.
Disliked: We had an issue with the door locks, so staff would need to accompany us every time we go into the room. We would suggest revisiting the bathtub design. The shower curtain is too short. Water accumulates on the floor so it could be slippery. A shower area is more efficient.

Stylish building with great pool....

Liked: Great pool. Beautiful building. Comfortable bed. Helpful staff who also loaned me chargers when my plug adapter didn’t work. They also let me check my bag behind the counter before and after checkout to suit my flight times.
Disliked: No issues - was there on 4 July so a bit of noise at night but to be expected from the location and there was an extra panel on the bedroom window to reduce this.

Good day could have been...

Liked: Comfortable bed good view
Disliked: No microwave no coffee pot in the room with coffee and creamer. Had to go downstairs and pay for coffee every day.

Looking forward to coming back...

Liked: The staff were brilliant and the pool area was perfect!
Disliked: Rooftop bar wasn’t open yet!

Excellent location but value limited...

Liked: Good location, close to Santa Monica beach, lots of restaurants nearby
Disliked: 1. Rooftop bar (formally a key attraction of the Beacon) was closed.2. We arrived back past 4pm and housekeeping had only just started cleaning our room so we couldn’t return for 1/2 hour.

A Hidden Gem

Liked: We stumbled upon The Eden Hotel last minute when our other accommodations unexpectedly fell through, and with no reviews available online (as the hotel had only been open for a couple weeks), we were a bit apprehensive. However, a quick call to the hotel put our minds at ease; the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, convincing us to book – and we are so glad we did!The location of The Eden Hotel is absolutely perfect. Situated right across from the beautiful Santa Monica beach, it offered stunning views from our room. The convenience of on-site parking was a major plus, even if it was a bit pricey. We also loved that we could easily walk to a plethora of shops and restaurants, making exploring the area a breeze.Our stay was nothing short of delightful. The room offered a beautiful view, and the cleaning service truly went above and beyond, keeping everything immaculate. Every single staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly and always willing to help. The pool area was incredibly relaxing, providing a quiet escape after a long day. And the coffee shop in the lobby was a wonderfully convenient amenity.The Eden Hotel exceeded our expectations and truly saved our trip. We highly recommend it!
Disliked: With the resort fee, parking fee, etc, it seems like the extra fees added up at check out
